Public Consultation for Cayman Brac Lighthouse National Park
Overview
The National Conservation Council (NCC) is inviting the public to review and provide comments on the proposal to protect a number of Crown Parcels along the north-eastern Bluff in Cayman Brac including all of Long Beach.
Why your views matter
The Cayman Brac eastern Bluff and Long Beach are among the most iconic and most visited natural landscapes in the Cayman Islands. This proposal for the Bluff Lighthouse National Park is intended to protect the Bluff formation and its unique species while keeping the area open for managed public access and recreation.
The scenic Lighthouse Trail and the picturesque Long Beach footpath will be preserved and enhanced for recreational and educational activities by residents, students and visitors, with the broader area kept in its natural state for current and future generations to enjoy.

The purpose of this survey is to provide the National Conservation Council and Cayman Islands Government with a measure of public opinion regarding the designation of the Cayman Brac Lighthouse National Park as a Protected Area. Responses will be presented to the National Conservation Council for consideration before submitting the nomination to Cabinet for approval. No personal informaiton will be published.
